Kids and Family Pottery Class

April School Holiday dates and times now listed!Join us for a creative and exciting clay sculpture and hand building class in Sydney! Kids aged 7 to 16 (and their adults) can unleash their artistic talents by crafting their own clay creature in this 2-hour workshop.

• Learn the art of clay hand building and painting with underglazes under the guidance of our experienced instructors
• Develop fine motor skills and hand-to-eye coordination while expressing yourself artistically and having a great time doing it
• Kids’ unique creations will be dried and bisque-fired, ready for you to pick up 3 to 4 weeks later. Pieces can be food, microwave, and dishwasher safe

Students will create two unique pieces with clay and then paint their pieces with underglazes. Once the pieces are fully dry, they will be bisque fired, then clear glazed and fired again to 1260 degrees. This makes the pieces waterproof and food safe.If kids want to make more than two pieces, there will be a $10 per piece fee. Read more details
