I have been a full time silk artist for more than 33 years. My love of the ocean and the coastal habitats which support it are the driving force behind my silk paintings and award winning environmental picture books. I regularly run silk painting workshops from my gallery , Sea Silks Gallery, in Ballina , NSW. I also recently realised a digital tutorial , How To Paint On Silk For Beginners with an optional silk painting kit. I have a BG in teaching and still visit many schools throughout Australia as an author and illustrator. I believe we can all help heal the planet through nurturing nature , art and education.
