Learn and Love Arts is a Sydney based creative studio led by Dr Minal Jain (PhD, Fine Arts)—an accomplished artist and educator who has exhibited in India and Australia. Our purpose is simple and powerful: help people of all ages discover the joy, confidence, and calm that come from making art.

From our welcoming studio in Carlingford and through our pop up programs across the city, we run hands on arts and crafts classes and workshops for kids and adults. Every session is designed to be playful, practical, and profoundly uplifting—a space where skills grow, imaginations stretch, and friendships form. We provide all materials so learners can focus on what matters: creating.

We’re equally passionate about the communities we serve. Beyond studio classes, we partner with shopping centres, property developments, councils, schools, libraries, and clubs to deliver high impact community engagement workshops and activation programs. These experiences transform public spaces into vibrant, creative hubs—welcoming families, delighting shoppers, and building a sense of belonging.

What We Do

1) Kids’ Art & Craft Classes

Nurturing creativity from the very first brush stroke. We build core skills (colour theory, composition, mixed media) while keeping classes fun, safe, and age appropriate. Holiday programs and themed workshops keep young artists inspired year round.

2) Adult Workshops

Relaxed, confidence building sessions in drawing, painting, watercolour, print making, mandala, Madhubani and more. Perfect for absolute beginners and returning artists who want mindful, social, skill building experiences.

3) Community Engagement & Activations

Turn any space into a creative magnet. We design and deliver drop in craft bars, school holiday activations, cultural festival art stalls, and family day workshops for:

Shopping centres (footfall uplift, longer dwell time, repeat visitation)
Property developments (resident experiences, place making, launch events)
Councils & community orgs (inclusive programs for diverse audiences)

We bring the full kit: materials, facilitators, risk assessments, and easy sign in/consent options—so partners can relax and enjoy the smiles.

About Dr Minal Jain (Founder & Creative Director)

Dr Minal Jain holds a PhD in Fine Arts and has presented her work in exhibitions across India and Australia. She is known for her bright, intricate styles (including folk and contemporary art) and her ability to translate complex techniques into simple, joyful steps. Her belief is at the heart of the studio: everyone is an artist—some of us just need the right moment to begin.
