What you'll do
Create a colourful collage of one of our favourite Australian birds, the Kookaburra!
In this live online class, kids will create their own collage papers using simple materials found at home. The papers will be the basis for a beautiful bright Kookaburra collage to brighten up your walls!
These online workshops are taught via Zoom are designed to be both interactive and engaging. The teachers interact with each child individually and offer tailored assistance to each student. These sessions are upbeat, educational and most importantly fun!
This class is designed to be created with simple materials that you may have at home. You will receive the Zoom login details for this class once your booking is confirmed.
This workshop is taught by practising artists with a warm and nurturing approach. At Gloworm Studios we treat each student as the young artist that they are and respect each child's unique creative expression. We value the enjoyment of the creative process above all else.- Children in year three and above wear a mask while in the studio.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly.
What to bring
- A grey lead pencil
- An eraser
- 3-4 sheets of paper (any type of paper is fine!)
- Something to add colour (coloured pencils are preferred however texta’s, watercolours, pastels or crayons are also great!)
Suitable for
Suitable for kids from 6 to 12 years old. Adult accompaniment is not required.
