What you'll do
If you're interested in learning a mindful hobby, this online drawing class will introduce you to a whole new world of therapeutic art.
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn fun and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured, repeated patterns. It increases focus and creativity and provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well-being.
In this live online class we will first create some beautiful water-coloured tiles and then use favourite Zentangle patterns to tangle over the coloured splotches we have created. Map Tangling is a fun way to add some colour to your Zentangle inspired art.
There are no mistakes in Zentangle so you can't get it wrong! This class is perfect for beginners and no artistic experience is necessary. Your instructor will guide you through your first Zentagles so you can feel confident practising on your own after class! You'll receive all you need to create the project in a DIY kit and have the option to add on a few more materials if you want to challenge your creativity!

I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). I have been tangling for about 10 years and teaching for over 7 years. Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, fun and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing repeated structured patterns. No artistic ability is required. If you can hold a pen and write your name you are half way there. There are no mistakes in Zentangle, so you can’t get it wrong. Zentangle increases focus and creativity as well as providing simple and quick access to mindfulness. I love sharing my passion for Zentangle.
