What you'll do
Love cake but are looking for healthier options? You can't go past this fun baking class with Vishakha Patel where you'll learn how to make a delicious, low-calorie cake!
Your teacher will show you how to balance the cake recipe using a popular Fitness App to calculate the calorie and macro-nutrients.
No butter, no oil, no cream, no milk, two fresh oranges, whole fruits with peels, almond meal and eggs. Comes out super-moist by itself without having to add vegetable oil.
You will actually blend the ingredients and bake that cake that's got the lowest calories and optimal macros. You will experience for yourself that no taste or texture is compromised in the process.
Your teacher will provide all the raw ingredients.
The class will be hosted in the open kitchen at the lovely penthouse apartment overlooking wide-open views of the Sydney CBD.
There will be complimentary nibbles and herbal tea provided (based on the availability in your teacher's pantry) and the class will be concluded as everyone devours the healthy and delicious dessert we have made!
You will be amazed to discover your way of eating that favourite dessert while at the same time remaining under your daily calorie budget!

I have always had that intuitive urge to 'create' something with a purpose: a new vegetarian recipe, a cake that would still be calorie-friendly, a soap that would nourish my skin with essential oils, a paining that would tell a story of my childhood, a candle that would smell divine?
So, my pursuit of the little joys of life that would bring me an experience as well as a creative satisfaction continues as I host cooking, baking and crafts socials at my apartment. In my journey of hosting these workshops in Sydney, I have come across a range of creative people, many of whom discovered it to be a fun hobby and some who have taken it further and started selling stuff online.

What a great start of a long weekend I had attended Vish's candle class earlier and I was only keen on joining her new classes of low calorie cake baking and herbal tea blending. It's surprising for me to find out that you can actually bake the cake that is "flourless" and thereby "carb reduced" while at the same time rich in texture, yum in taste, and a visual treat to an eye. I am going to have to muster a lot of courage to actually cut this cake tomorrow! I was provided all ingredients - organic almond meal, fresh oranges, premium vanila and almond essences, and everything else needed for a bake. The 270 degree wide open views of her balcony were amazingly uninterrupted (do you even get this in Sydney?) and we ended up enjoying VIVID from her balcony while the cake in the oven was baking! It was peaceful relaxed environment, and an experience I would recommend to all. Super IMPRESSED how the cake came out. Such a great value for money as well. Thank you Vish for helping me discover a way of devouring dessert while at the same time remaining within the rules of my high protein low carb diet plan. Many thanks!
