Join us in our friendly creative space in St Peters for a few hours of fun and creativity while learning everything you need to know to create your choice of either one or two of your own large beautifully fragrant candles.
Rebecca from Made by Me Workshop will take you through all the steps you will need to create your candles from premium soy wax. The workshop will start with an introduction to the fragrance wheel which will help you to understand why we like different scents and which ones blend well to make a pleasing fragrance.
Armed with an understanding of fragrance you will be ready to select your own fragrance for each of your candles, the biggest challenge will be narrowing it down from our enormous range of fragrances. You will then learn how to correctly melt your wax, and how to select and position the correct wick for your vessel before pouring your candles.

- The difference between essential and fragrance oils
- An introduction to the fragrance wheel and how to properly scent your candle
- How to calculate the amount of wax and fragrance to use

Our workshops are as much about creativity as they are about connection, in our space you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself.
We have tea and coffee making facilities and always some treats on hand. Please also feel free to BYO drinks, snacks, party essentials and friends to ensure your workshop is the best possible day or night out!
Perfect for absolute beginners or those who have made candles before but want to try some new scents.
All the quality materials you will need to create one or two large candles each with a lid, access to our fragrance bar and full use of our tools and equipment.
Please note the candles need to set for 24 hours so they will need to be collected at another time or can be posted for an additional charge payable on the day.
There is no need to bring a thing, we will provide you with an apron to wear during the workshop - we always recommend dressing comfortably and wearing "sensible" shoes - not need to dress to impress! We have water, tea, coffee and snacks.
