Macrame Airplant Pod Workshop

Craft a macrame air plant pod at this unique dedicated small workshop in Sydney

3 hours Class size 1 to 4

label $120 (or 4 payments of $30 Afterpay)

Calling all plant and macrame lovers! In this home studio workshop, you will create a gorgeous plant hanger in the shape of a bird's nest.

It will be beautifully crafted by yourself and can be used to hold an air plant or a small three-inch plant pot. You can also surprise someone with a handmade gift hidden inside the pods for example soap, sweets, or chocolates.

The class is ideal but not limited to those who have already been introduced and familiar with the square knot but can also be attended by beginners as well.

We have allowed at least three hours to ensure everyone can work at their own pace, however, those who already have some experience may finish earlier.

We have a small dedicated group that will facilitate learning and finishing the project.

"HorizonAu" hobby shop came into existence in late 2018.

I am a self-taught artist. The process of creating macrame provided me with great comfort after dealing with the loss of a dear one.

Using my creativity for a purpose and meeting with people from all walks of life inspires me every day.

I can recall a mother asking me to do a dream catcher for her autistic son. Another lady wanted something in red to create awareness around cystic fibrosis. And also a member of an Australian iconic rock band asking me to do some customised items for his patio.

I like the idea of creating happiness, togetherness, and warmth whilst creating a macrame piece.

Let me be your teacher. Join me for a small group session at my home studio for a macrame project.
