What you'll do
Join us for a relaxing class and learn how to make a macrame dreamcatcher! At this hands-on class, the kids will create their very own macrame dreamcatcher to take home and display.
The macrame dreamcatcher is a symbol of Native American culture and tradition and has been around for centuries.
Dreamcatchers are believed to have a variety of benefits, both spiritual and physical. Some people believe that they can help to protect the owner from nightmares and bad dreams. They can also act as a filter to keep out negative energy and vibes.
Over two hours, your friendly teacher will take you through the basics of macrame, teaching you various basic macrame knots. This will form the basis for creating your very own macrame dreamcatcher which your teacher will guide and help you through.
The kids will have a variety of colours to choose from on the day and they will walk away with a beautiful wall hanging of their very own handmade by them.
Parents are not required to stay however if you would like to stay parents must also book.
