Clay and Macrame Half Day Retreat

Discover the art of macrame and clay hand building in this dynamic and engaging double artist half-day retreat. Learn the basic techniques of macrame and clay hand building with talented potter Wendy from Little Miss Potty Mouth. You will learn to create a stunning macrame plant hanger and handcrafted clay pot to take home.

The first workshop will consist of our talented macrame teacher, Sarah, guiding you step by step through a beginner macrame lesson to craft the plant hanger. After a short break, our second artist and pottery teacher, Wendy, will teach you how to use clay hand building techniques to craft a stunning pot.

Don't worry if you've never tried macrame or hand building before - this workshop is designed for beginners and no prior experience is required. Our knowledgeable and friendly instructors, Sarah and Wendy, will guide you through each step, ensuring you feel confident in your abilities and excited about the creative possibilities that lie ahead.

During the class, you'll be working with high-quality materials to craft your macrame masterpieces. As you immerse yourself in this tactile and meditative activity, you may find yourself feeling calm, focused, and inspired.

By the end of the retreat, you'll not only have two one-of-a-kind pieces to showcase in your home, but you'll also have gained new skills, friendships, and a sense of accomplishment. Join us for this transformative experience and unleash your creativity through the art of macrame and clay.

We are a mobile service and travel to your event/venue. If you would prefer, we can assist in booking a private studio as an add-on. Group bookings larger than 12 include a teacher and teacher's assistant.

There is a one-off travel fee of $100 to cover travel costs to the venue.

Grazing platters are available from a local supplier as an add-on.
