Est. in 2010. Our Lifestyle, Art & Craft studios in Cammeray, Sydney Lower North Shore, provide a relaxed creative space, Inspiring designers, artists & tinkerers of our future.
Maker’s Loft has grown into a local CREATIVE HUB for everyone to enjoy.
Offering a range of creative events from corporate team building, Hens parties to birthday parties for all ages.
Providing workshops and classes, school holiday programs and after school craft club.
Our creative spaces and equipment are available for hire and we’re always looking for Makers to come and share their knowledge and inspire others through running workshops.

The teacher was really helpful with guidance, the venue easy to access and plenty of material to make the wreath. Recommend to make a wreath that has your own mark!

Anooke made my birthday unforgettable, they were very funny, calming and kind.
The setup of the table was perfect for the 10 of us and it’s was very easy to follow Anooke’s instructions. There were many helpful tips given and also ideas for how to add our own flare to the pieces. We all created 3 beautiful pieces.
Would definitely recommend this class. Everyone loved it!

The class I went to was very good, Sasha, my teacher was very helpful and understanding, even after I made the same mistake 5 times. The place is very nice and clean, and the sowing machine is easy to use. There is a range of fabrics and materials to choose from, giving you the freedom to use your creativity. In the 6 hours I managed to do 3 projects, a pin cushion, pencil case and tote bag. I believe this class is definitely age appropriate because I 16 years old, found it not too hard or not too easy, it was the perfect level for a beginner, even if it’s your first time. The experience was fun and I learned a lot, next time I want to try a pottery class there.
If your thinking about doing this sowing class I highly recommend it.

Great experience with my girlfriend. We learnt a lot and materials were supplied with fantastic guidance and teachers. Unlimited amount of clay to use, so don’t be afraid to make mistakes and experiment!

Anouke was a super friendly teacher who gave heaps of guidance, provided all necessary materials and created a lovely atmosphere:) In the two hours as a group we each made a more structured object, had some free range over creating small objects of our choice (I made some spoons) and then we made ‘pinch pots’ as a group as well. Overall a super lovely experience and would highly recommend!

The instructor was lovely, informative, and helpful with any inquiries! Awesome and very calming atmosphere. The location was easy to find and there was street parking right outside. lots of colours were provided and we were informed of how the will deepen after firing. There was a nice variety of ceramics to paint on so everyone got the one they wanted to paint. This was such a fun experience to do with friends and family and we are all excited to see how they turn out after firing. An activity I'd highly recommend everyone to try!

This class was perfect for beginners! They provided a short and clear demonstration at the beginning of using the wheel. The rest of the lesson was free for us to experiment and create, whilst two instructors came around and assisted where needed. We had access to unlimited clay which meant there was no fear of messing up or wasting material. All in all it was a fun, supportive environment and very relaxing! I learnt a lot.

The clay sculpture class at Makers Loft in Cammeray was such a cute little gem. The venue provided everything for our Hens event. Sacha our teacher was amazing! She was so friendly, kind and taught the class so well providing us with techniques and tools on how we could achieve our sculpture. The experience was so fun with the live model, perfect for the ladies! Would highly recommend the place!

What a wonderful Saturday evening with friends at the Makers Loft . We learned new skills with clay, to create a range of items while having a lot of fun at the same time.

It was a great night, with our teacher Anook guiding us through every step before letting us create our own masterpieces. We were well informed on what way works best with the clay, as to end up with a great product. There were also plenty of examples around the room to help with ideas.
I made to small dishes, a house for a tea light, a small vase/jug and some placecard holders to a table setting.
I can recommend it, as a great night out with friends!

My group (20 people) and I had the most brilliant evening celebrating a special evening whilst engaging with this awesome clay sculpting class. Our teacher and model were so patient, accommodating and knowledgeable! We will definitely be back in the future

Sacha was an awesome teacher and host She and her sister have created such an amazing creative haven at their beautifully created studio at Maker's Loft. We had my sister's bridal shower and our entire party thoughrouly enjoyed the experience. We loved picking from the variety of ceramics and beautiful colour selections to paint them and can't wait to see our glazed masterpieces

Loved this sooo much, it looks hard but is sooo easy when you know how & the video was fantastic, really clear & helpful & being pre-recorded you can go back & pause when you want. Kit arrived well packed, is best quality & had loads more of stuff inside than expected. Amazing teacher, sooo kind, nothing was too much trouble.

This is a really fun and easy class. Honestly anyone can do this class and create something cool and unquie. The craft box was well put together and I still have supplies left over to create another bowl which I really like.

Loved the Macrame keyring workshop. Bought it for my Mum for Mother’s Day and we had a great time sitting together making our key rings. Great set up by Makers Loft and really easy to understand instructions so we could complete the project. Really enjoyed it.

My 10 yr old daughter and I really enjoyed doing the Macramé Keyring class. The teacher, Anouke, was very professional & friendly as she explained and demonstrated how to do the Macramé. It was interesting doing a craft class via Zoom. I would definitely recommend Maker's Loft - I'm keen to do another macramé class and perhaps some other classes that they offer.
Well done to ClassBento for organising online craft classes. Whilst there was a slight delay with the delivery of the craft kits, Maker's Loft was happy to reschedule the class.

It was only a group of 4 and it felt very personalised. Our teacher had the time to spend as little or as much time as each participant wished to assist with their creations, giving specialised tips and advice.
I strongly recommend this class, the 3hr absolutely flew by and left us wondering where all the time went. Would love to go back and have sign up for any of their other offerings.

Cute and clever creations. Lots of time to practice with different colours and textures of wool. Unfortunately as the temporary venue was a pop-up it didn’t allow for use of a hot glue gun to complete many of the pictured creations. Good introductory course to learn the basic skills of Pom Pom making

We had a fantastic time at pottery and plonk for my sisters hen’s night. Anouke was a great host and teacher, the space was beautiful, we brought some extra decorations and food/drinks but what was provided was more than sufficient. We were shown how to make pinch pots and how to use that as a base for making chimes, bowls, or anything else we could imagine. It was very relaxed and fun, would highly recommend!
