MakerSpace & Co is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that operate public access makerspace facilities and manage the communities that access them. Our organisation was originally formed by a collective of design school graduates seeking access to facilities and workspaces to continue their own practices after completing their studies. MakerSpace & Co has since opened and operated 2 facilities both located in Marrickville in the Inner West Council area of Sydney. Our current site is an 800sqm multilevel facility, accommodating various disciplines of making and designing including woodworking, metalworking, digital fabrication, ceramics and recycled plastics, that includes a comprehensive education program.
