Make the most of the best time of the day and learn how to capture swiftly changing morning light in this Sydney photography workshop.
The location for your morning of creativity and learning will be Manly Beach, accompanied by expert instructor Scott McGale.
Learn how to keep up with the changing light, density and hue as you adjust your DSLR or mirrorless camera settings to continue optimum exposure.
At first light, you’ll create long exposures over the water (bring a tripod if you can for this part). Then you’ll learn about the theories, principles and practice of shooting in Manual mode. Thirdly, you’ll wrap everything you've learned together to shoot creative portraiture, working with bodies, tones, shapes and the sea.
Note: Start times are variable during the year, depending on sunrise times (earlier in the summer months).
