Manuela is a Colombian born, Canadian raised artist who’s been living in Sydney for 8 years now and has been working with clay on and off for 15 years. After studying fine arts in Montréal, she’s dabbled in everything from paper-maché jewellery to logo design, murals and art installations for venue fit outs, illustration and bronze casting, to even ice sculpture. She found her passion in ceramics and sculpture though, and after working at a couple of studios in Botany, she now finds success selling her pieces online, at markets and even a recent sold out show in Erskineville. She’s been hosting clay workshops more and more often and loves the experience of teaching and sharing her craft.
