Air, owner of Airr Made Ceramics, is a local ceramist and owner of Market Studio. A creative space where she handcrafts her ceramics and features other local artists.

Airr Made Ceramics focuses on functional pieces that represent the earthy tones and textures of nature. And is all about recycling, reusing and lifelong pieces with a place in our daily lives.

We went as a group of friends with most of us trying handbuilding clay for the first time. Whenever we thought we ruined our creations, Shane and Air would be able to save it and were super encouraging and helpful. Overall, we had a lot of fun and got super lost in it and would definitely come back again!

I have no artistic side at all & I only go there as a gift to my girlfriends’ birthday celebration, but Air & Shane made the class very interesting and were very hands-on. My girlfriends are also very happy and will definitely book another one with a group.
Location and the parking are also good.

Came here for valentines day and it was so much fun. I'm stuck in an office all the time so it is really nice to do something creative. Doing it with a date is really fun, making something for each other. The 2 hours went by so fast Would love to do another class again

The teachers were very good at explaining things and were hands on when I asked but also showed me how to do it myself so I could be independent. The venue was lovely and bright and filled with inspiring pottery. Materials were provided and worked well. I made a vase and I have left it at the studio to be fired and glazed. I can’t wait to see the result! Thank you for a lovely afternoon. I left feeling inspired.

Fantastic class and super helpful instructors. It was fun and a great learning experience! We managed to learn the fundamentals of clay building and for my first attempt, I was impressed with what I managed to make. I’d recommend this ceramics workshop for a nice outing with friends, to experience something new, and really to just have an enjoyable night. Will definitely come back again!

My kids had such an enjoyable time at Market Studio with Air and Shane. They were great (incredibly patient and clear with instructions), and encourage the kids to create their individual masterpieces.
