We have all heard about it! Maybe even tried it! Meal prep, short for meal preparation, refers to getting ourselves organised and planning and preparing meals in advance. Often involving cooking large quantities of food at one time and then portioning it out for meals throughout the week.
Meal prepping can help save time, reduce food waste, and promote healthier eating habits by allowing individuals to have ready-to-eat meals that align with their dietary goals.
It typically involves selecting recipes, grocery shopping, cooking, and storing meals in containers for easy access. However, it can all be overwhelming, time-consuming, and costly. Join us for this live-streamed class and gather tips on how you can make meal prep a success for your family.
This class includes individual feedback on how to turn your favourite recipes into meal prep success.

female Women-owned

Hello! My name is Darlene Allston, and I have a deep passion for cooking that has blossomed for many years. Currently, I am a consultant for my own business Flourish & Nourish with Darlene, based in Fremantle, Western Australia, which offers a mix of consulting services, cooking classes and thoughtful online gifting.
With a Diploma in Hospitality Management, and a Certificate III in commercial cookery, I have experienced many food related roles, including working as an event coordinator in the tourist town of Exmouth, Western Australia, creating bespoke menus for weddings, engagements, and other special occasions.
In addition to event coordination, I have had the privilege of running a delightful café located in Exmouth's premium tourist information centre. This experience has allowed me to connect with visitors and locals alike, sharing my love for food and hospitality.
One of my proudest achievements is nurturing my own brand, Ningaloo Brew. This unique creation combines various flavours to offer a tantalising experience for tea and coffee lovers. It has been a labour of love, bringing together my passion for crafting delicious food and beverages and sharing them with others.
With over 25 years of experience writing recipes and catering to family needs for That's Life! magazine! I have honed a variety of skills that I am eager to share. I have always cherished the opportunity to impart creative skills and recipe creations to my readers, particularly in creating healthy and nutritious meals for their families.
For over a decade, I worked at a community college, instilling basic cooking skills in students. This rewarding experience has inspired me to develop more interactive ways to teach, such as through videos and classes. I am committed to providing you with the skills and knowledge needed to feed your family with love and nourishment.
I am excited to continue this journey, sharing my culinary expertise and passion with others. Whether through my videos, classes, holistic practice or products from Ningaloo Brew, I hope to inspire and empower you in your own kitchen adventures. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me!
