You'll get to enjoy working in a beautiful gallery environment with a supportive, creative and committed team teaching you the basics of drawing still-life and mixed media craft.

Course content:

  • Weeks one to three: you will focus on drawing skills where you will learn about the basics of observational drawing, the elements and principles of design and then create a botanical illustration of leaf and flower patterns in both ink and either watercolour or gouache.
  • Weeks four to six: Your wooden chair/furniture begins its beautiful transformation, renovation and changes into an object representing your own Archetype/s Tree of Life. A beautifully painted, mosaic and textured symbol of colours, images and symbols that mean ‘you’.
