Hi, I’m MJ!

I am a Product Leader in the financial services space. When I’m not busy formulating strategies and running product experimentations, I devote my time doing the basics: reading, writing, crafting -- always with a cup of coffee.

In 2014, I discovered my unexpected passion with papercutting. In between happenstance and major life choices, I find myself coming back to the meditative practice of transforming simple papers into something profound.

From portraits to florals, geometric patterns to maps, my pieces demonstrate a work of art inspired by life: persistence, intricacies, and beautiful chaos.

I have successfully held workshops in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
