  • 5/5 from Josephine Doueihi, attended Jun 2024: Fantastic, fantastic course. Would highly recommend. Amy and Mickey know the subject extremely well. I learned a lot. And after only 2 days, the mushroom bucket is doing what it should
  • 5/5 from Alexis Nguyen, attended Jul 2023: Excellent, well balanced course. Enough info without overwhelming. A practical set up of a mushroom kit to take home and watch grow.
  • 5/5 from Chloe Wilson, attended Jul 2023: I joined this class out of curiosity and left feeling inspired and much more informed. The class was well paced and covered all the basics in an engaging and comprehensive way. The teachers were generous with their knowledge and experience. The class was also very good value. You leave with a kit you made in class and another set of material to replicate at home. You also get access to all the information you learnt online. Highly recommend this for anyone with any curiosity about growing mushrooms.
  • 5/5 from Noah Sutton, attended Feb 2023: Cool mix of interested people w/ various experience levels. Good mix of books of different sourcing and focus areas offered. Various physical examples of range of fungi. Like the teachers. Good manner bout them. Broad, open discussion. Good for introducing at beginners level but good, ranging discussion. Friendly without being shiny. Enabling and acknowledging of people's intelligence and ability to take their activities as far as suits them. Good venue, space and locality if food options or just checking out area. easy pub' trans' links.

Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms
Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms

4.9 (99)

Little Acre founders, Mickey and Amy Pascoe, started growing mushrooms in their backyard in Brisbane in 2017. Their hobby soon flourished into an urban gourmet mushroom farm, supplying top restaurants in the city with locally grown mushrooms.
The pair have personally grown tonnes and tonnes of mushrooms and dedicated the last 9 years of their lives to becoming experts in this field. They have honed their craft, sought knowledge and training from overseas and toured facilities globally.
Little Acre now supports mushroom growers nationwide, offering mushroom kits, mushroom grain spawn, substrates, and growing supplies.
We want to share our passion for mushroom cultivation and get people excited about using these incredibly versatile and unique ingredients in their cooking, offering workshops to teach you the easy way you can grow your own gourmet mushrooms at home!
