Learn how to photograph the nude human form in a powerful, professional, and completely location-driven way with this signature School of Art Nudes outdoor experience.This is not a casual walk with a camera. This is a full-day creative immersion into Nude. Light. Landscape. Form. Scale.We take the art nude out of the studio and place it into the vastness of the Australian environment — cliffs, plains, forests, textures, open skies. Sometimes we head toward the Blue Mountains and the dramatic plains beyond. Sometimes the Southern Highlands. Sometimes breathtaking Central Coast stretches. The exact route evolves with the group, weather, and creative intent.You will photograph professional art model(s) across multiple natural backdrops, learning how to balance skin tones with harsh sunlight, soft diffused light, shadow play, and environmental composition. We work with scale — the human form against nature. We work with mood — minimal, sculptural, editorial, bold.Throughout the day, we typically explore 10–15 carefully selected stops and create 20+ distinct shooting variations — from fine art and low-key environmental nudes to stronger editorial, magazine-inspired outdoor compositions. It runs like a moving workshop: we drive, we scout, we stop, we create, we refine — and then we move again.This is hands-on. You will shoot. You will adapt. You will learn how to think fast with natural light and location changes. I guide you through framing, direction, exposure adjustments, and how to elevate an outdoor nude from “snapshot” to statement piece.If you want a day that stretches your creativity, strengthens your lighting instincts, and adds serious depth to your portfolio — this is your kind of workshop.Please note:
- The allocated 10-hour duration includes driving time, shooting sessions, and short breaks. Depending on the group energy and light conditions, the day may naturally extend.
