Hi, I’m Debbie Pfingst,
The heart behind Earthbound Craft and Wellness. My journey with art and craft began over 30 years ago as a way to manage my chronic illnesses and find peace in the everyday.
What started as a personal tool for healing quickly became a passion—one that I knew I had to share with others. There was a pivotal moment when I realised that the joy of creating wasn’t just in the end product, but in the act of crafting itself.
It’s a chance to slow down, be present, and reconnect with yourself, which is why I’ve dedicated my work to empower women to do just that.
Teaching has become one of the most fulfilling aspects of my craft journey. I love guiding others not just in making something beautiful, but in discovering a new side of themselves—one that’s more creative, confident, and calm.
My approach is gentle and encouraging, with a focus on creating a safe space where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their skill level. I believe that the healing power of art is accessible to all and that creativity can truly change lives.
Here’s something special about me that you might not know:
I’ve navigated my own health challenges for years and it’s given me a unique perspective on the therapeutic benefits of craft, mindfulness, and wellness. I infuse this understanding into my workshops, helping others find joy and relaxation no matter where they are in their own journey.
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of students through online courses, in-person workshops, and even community retreats. I’ve guided participants in crafting projects that range from soap making to gratitude boxes, painting and much more all with a focus on self-care and expression.
Additionally, I regularly collaborate with a membership, where I run monthly craft projects that integrate both creativity and well-being.
While I don’t hold formal art qualifications, my experience comes from years of hands-on practice and connecting with people who’ve felt the transformative impact of artand craft. My work has been featured in local events, and I’ve seen the power of community engagement I hold online classes and I run in person and virtual retreats and workshops focused on creative healing.
I’d love to welcome you into my world of art and crafting for self-care and empowerment. Let’s slow down, create, and make art that not only looks good but feels good too.
Cheers,
Deb
