What you'll do
Searching for indoor kids activities these Melbourne school holidays? Create a colourful galaxy painting filled with all things outer space including astronauts, rockets, UFOs and planets in this live online class for kids!
These online workshops are taught via Zoom are designed to be both interactive and engaging. The teachers interact with each child individually and offer tailored assistance to each student. These sessions are upbeat, educational and most importantly fun!
This workshop is taught by practising artists with a warm and nurturing approach. At Gloworm Studios we treat each student as the young artist that they are and respect each child's unique creative expression. We value the enjoyment of the creative process above all else.
You will receive the Zoom login details for this class once your booking is confirmed. All kids will finish up with a colourful galaxy masterpiece.
Please note: This workshop requires watercolour paints. Watercolour paints work best on watercolour paper. Affordable and accessible watercolour paints and papers are available from Officeworks, Coles and Kmart.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly.
What to bring
- A set of watercolour paints
- Watercolour paper (preferred) or thick cartridge paper
- Grey lead pencil
- An eraser
- 3-4 sheets of paper for initial sketches (any type of paper is fine!)
Suitable for
Suitable for kids from 6 to 12 years old. Adult accompaniment is not required.
