Join this pottery workshop with your child to explore clay, create one-of-a-kind pieces, and share special moments together.
In this class, you’ll explore basic clay techniques, get a little messy, and enjoy the fun of creating something truly unique. The session is mostly self-directed, giving you the freedom to make what inspires you, while a teacher is on hand to provide guidance and support as needed.
We’ll start with a simple method for making a cup and guide you through working with clay. You’ll also get to experiment with underglazes, adding colour, personality, and flair to your piece. It’s a fantastic opportunity to create, collaborate, and enjoy the creative process together.
Please note: These sessions are suitable only for children who can safely sit on a high stool without a back.
No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity.
Perfect for beginners and big imaginations alike.
*Up to 1 item is included in this workshop. Any additional items can be glazed and fired at a small cost, which is payable on the day.
*We require a minimum number of enrolments to run the class. In the event that the class does not reach minimum numbers, we will cancel and reschedule your booking.
*We will glaze and fire your artwork in approximately 5 weeks. Once they are ready we will contact you to let you know suitable times for collection. We cannot store artworks for longer than 6 months due to space limitations. After this time, all uncollected artworks will be donated.
*The utmost care will always be taken with your precious artworks. Occasionally, ceramics crack or break in the firing process. We cannot accept liability under these circumstances.
