Treat your friends, colleagues or family to one of our fun masterclasses in Planar Bar & Dining and let our expert Italian chef teach you the techniques and history behind Italian pasta making. Learn to make your favourite Italian Fettucine, potato gnocchi or stuffed ravioli - everything you make, you can take!

The masterclass package also includes a fantastic two-course dining experience, along with a complimentary saucepot to later cook your self-made pasta with.

Please let us know any dietary requirements when making a request, we can offer gluten-free and dairy-free options.

On arrival, you'll enjoy a glass of sparkling per person. You will also enjoy a mixed antipasto platter for entree to share and a shared banquet of Blackbird’s finest pasta, pizzas and salads for mains.

An optional two-hour drinks package is available for an extra $40, which includes:

  • Soft drinks.

The team thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class. The teacher was great and approachable. Also enjoyed the food afterwards and overall was good value for money. Only issue was the restaurant seemed to forget we were coming, so was not prepared or set up for the cooking class which delayed our lunch and the class.
The course outline did mention an anitpasto platter as an entree instead we received dips. Would be good to have a first course in the middle of the class to allow the dough time to rest as it seemed a little rush. Again, overall was an enjoyable event to attend and would recommend it

This class was super fun and a great way to kick off our hen’s night. The teacher was fun and engaging and we actually managed to turn out some good looking pasta! Dinner afterwards was also really enjoyable!

Organised this class with a large group (17 people) for a corporate outing. Everyone had a great time and now want to come back to do the Pizza making class also on offer

Class was well organised with laid out upon arrival and Andreas the teacher was great.

Pizza's and Pastas provided after were also delicious.
