What you'll do

Learn the fundamentals of photography for beginners with this exciting, hands-on class in Sydney!

Beginning at our Milson's Point station meeting point, your experienced teacher will show you how to capture the sights of the harbour and the world around you in unique and interesting ways.

This class will offer you:

One-hour covering the theory of photography (types of cameras and lenses, manual mode, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and much more).
One-hour of hands-on exercises so you can actually practice what you have just learned (exercises will be sent to your email and then will be corrected).
Material to take home and keep improving yourself.
Post-production (free apps you can use on your phone, use of filters, lightroom, etc.).

Even if you don't have a camera, you can use any smartphone for this class and instantly improve your photography skills! If you're looking for fun Sydney activities, then photography is a great lifelong skill to master.

Knowledge required

Absolute beginners welcome. No experience is required.

What to bring

Camera with manual mode or your smartphone (if using your smartphone, you just need to download a paid app called MANUAL, or a free one called YAMERA).

Sofi was competent and genuinely Passionate about her job making easier to understand.
Her lesson was really helpful and taught me few fundamental tricks and to know my camera potential better.
The meeting point was at the iconic Sydney harbour so it couldn’t have been a better practice spot.

Sophia really knows her stuff and explains the technical parts of Photography so it makes it simple to understand.
