Have you got some photogenic loved ones you'd just love to take photos of? Why not try out The Aperture Club's portrait photography workshop in Sydney and get some tips and tricks to be able to snap quality portraits with your own camera!
In this workshop, you'll be guided through the best tips and tricks of portraiture photography by an industry expert. You'll learn about the fundamentals of snapping someone's photos, as well as the basic skills to be able to create a masterpiece in just one click.
You'll discover the importance of composition and lighting and even have the chance to explore your own unique photography style too. You'll get the chance to work with a model and learn how to manipulate lighting and direct the shot to bring your ideas to life.
What you will learn in this workshop:
- Portraiture and its various genres
- Camera accessories and which pieces are used to get different effects
- Aperture and the importance of depth of field
- Shutter speeds
- Natural and artificial lighting and how to diffuse and bounce it using reflectors
- Exposure settings
- Advanced creative composition and how to pose and communicate with your subject.
You'll leave this class with some awesome new photography skills, plus you'll feel creatively inspired too!
