In this exciting workshop, you'll learn the art of tufting and create a stunning, custom-made tufted masterpiece to take home. Discover the joy of working with vibrant yarns and textures as you bring your unique design to life.
As we guide you through the process, you'll have a selection of more than 50 colours of yarn to choose from. You'll slow make your rug and see your design come to life—tuft by tuft!
The class takes around two to three hours, which gives plenty of time to make your custom piece--- a tufted bag, mirror, keychain, coaster or small rug (35x35cm).
We can also help you to do the finish touches and trimming so you can take it home and use it for everyday use.

TUTU STUDIO is a 100 square meter workshop located in Dixon St, China Town, Sydney.
We opened in 2021, offering a wide range of craft activities in our studio.
We have tufting, where you can create your own favorite items like rugs, bags, cushions, mirrors, and coasters.
Each year, over 2000 people enjoy tufting in our studio.
This year, we have introduced handmade DIY silver jewelry rings, which require no prior experience.
We provide engaging courses that teach you how to design and craft 999 silver rings.
In addition to this, our studio offers various other hands-on experiences, including glass painting, fluid art, 3D relief painting, and more, suitable for people of all ages.
We also host birthday parties and private events.

The class was so fun! I loved that they let us do our own thing and make it our own. The activity is so amazing and I would 100% recommend to anyone. Whilst the independence was nice sometimes it felt a little bit like we were simply using the studio and we did not have instructions for what to do next. We weren't exactly clear on the process it was very much like we had to ask what now which was quite awkward. But the activity was still incredible none the less and the environment was super artsy and authentic.

We had a great experience at TUTU Studio, doing a tufting class. The teacher was very knowledgeable and helped us learn and practice how to do it before we moved onto our personal works. Overall the space was very nice, the activity was super fun, but the atmosphere felt a touch awkward at times. I would definitely recommend it and would go back again.
