What you'll do
Are your coasters at home being overshadowed by the beverages above them? Or perhaps your drinks lack a proper stage to show off on? If you answered yes or are just looking for a fun experience in Sydney, join M&Y Pottery to handcraft your very own unique ceramic coasters, tiles or small bowls!
In this hands-on pottery class, you’ll learn how to craft six unique floral designs to adorn your creations. Over two immersive hours, you will work with white clay and underglazes to create original pottery pieces which you can use to decorate your home or make for a thoughtful handmade gift for loved ones.
Come solo or bring friends, family members or colleagues for a crafty team experience in Sydney. Plus, you’re welcome to bring a drink and some nibbles as well!
You will be provided with all the materials and tools you need to bring your creations to life! After you craft your pieces, they will be dried, glazed and fired for you. This process usually takes 4-5 weeks. Whilst we would love for you to walk away with your masterpieces at the end of the session, pottery is a timely process but it’s more than worth the wait! You will be notified when your beautiful pieces are ready for you to collect and take home.

We are two potters (Misha&Yvona Pottery) who produce natural organic hand built tableware. We are drawn from colours and textures of nature, simplicity and function. We have loved clay since our childhood and this last decade we have devoted our time and passion to it fully. Pottery is our passion and we want to share that passion with you!
We are living in a world full of technology, surrounded by all this stress and rush, we are losing contact with nature. The process of taking a clod of mud, mixing it with water giving it form, putting it in the fire, and walking away with something beautiful, functional, and completely unique is a magical experience. It brings an overwhelming sense of joy and satisfaction to anyone who works with clay.
