What you'll do

Experience creating art using an intuitive, unstructured approach and make something you love at our Balmain studio.

At a private art class with Kirana Haag, there is no course outline, schedule. Your class is a time and space to be still, to listen and then express and create.

You can do as much or as little as you wish in a session – whether that’s one brushstroke, or filling an entire canvas! Your teacher's role is to guide you, to give you inspiration, direction and the support to achieve it. You are held by Kirana in your creative process—however that unfolds.

You don’t have to commit to a minimum or a maximum number of lessons. You create at your own pace and at times that fit your lifestyle.

This is not a paint by numbers type of lesson, we paint through experimenting with different media and pulling inspiration from within you.

Knowledge required

All skill levels, ages and special needs are welcome. Your teacher has years of experience teaching a wide range of students at all levels and abilities.

All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to push past your comfort zone to create!

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 5 years old).

Adult accompaniment is not required.

I paint daily. And I am always learning and developing my own art practice, which I love sharing with creatively curious people.

I am here to walk with you, to listen and hold space for you to make your creative wishes real. I tune in to see where you are at, where you want to be and where you can be as an artist. This helps guide our creative journey together.

As we work, I will challenge you when limitations or blockages come up. I’ll offer insights and new techniques so you can create artworks beyond what you imagine.

I prefer an intuitive, unstructured approach to art coaching, so there’s no course outline, schedules or time limits. We don’t have to talk either – this is your time and space to be still, to listen, then express and create.
