What you'll do

This workshop is suitable for those who are beginners to resin art and are wanting to get a few more skills to add under their creative belt. You are guaranteed to bring home something you love, whether it's for yourself and your home or a gift for someone you love.

This workshop has been described by many as mesmerizing and therapeutic. It truly it an exciting visual experience you wont want to miss out on. Bonus (of course) - You will leave the workshop with a gorgeous three-piece coaster set to add into your home.

Chelsey will personally help you create your coasters - you'll learn all aspects including:

What is resin and safety required using it.
What types of resins are suitable for particular projects.
How to use alcohol inks in your resin
Resin after care for your coasters

You'll also be given Chelsey's resin Eguide so you'll get to go home with all the information taught in class and apply it to your resin projects on your own at home! All materials provided will be provided with array of colours to choose from. However, if you have something in particular you would like to cast in resin, bring it along! Just ensure it is clean and dry.

Please note:

Your resin coasters will need 24 to 48 hours to dry, so you will need to collect your pieces within the following days. Postage can be arranged for an additional charge of $14

Chelsey Teale is an Australian based artist currently living in Sydney, originally born and raised in California. Chelsey has been creating mixed media art in an attempt to capture a sense of flow and movement within her paintings. Her current work would fall under abstract expressionism mixed in with minimalism. Specialising in non-traditional painting methods and straying away from using any strict guidelines on how the paintings should turn out, rather trusting the movement and flow of the medium. Her approach to her art is completely intuitive and comes from within, which makes her pieces feel authentic and original.
