Description

Join us for a night of discovering your creative side while you learn how to make your own resin homewares.
In this 2.5 hour workshop you will create 3 coasters and 1 stool top/wall hanging using fluid art techniques. No prior experience is required. Your instructor will demonstrate the mixing and pouring techniques before guiding you through creating your own unique resin pieces.
All materials are provided and you'll leave after a great night with a beautiful collection of homewares. High grade resin needs time to set so we recommend waiting at least 24 hours to de-mould your pieces. Boxes will be provided to carry your new homewares home to set completely overnight.

This class is available on Request for groups of 3+.

Don't have a group of 3+ students? If you're happy to pay a higher price per person (total of $555 for the class), you can just Request to book this class for 3 students (and attend with fewer guests).

Hi I'm Gina, a resin and mixed media artist based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. I've always made art in some form, some good, some bad and after exploring various mediums I've found my creative flow when using resin. Careful placement of colours combine to form an explosion of depth and colour, resulting in unique pieces with a glass like finish. Working with resin is calming, creating what often appears as satellite images of lakes and oceans, I love that the art I create mimics nature. I create my pieces using resin blended with acrylic inks, iridescent powders and lots of love for my friends and friends of friends and...you get the idea. That's what Art for Friends is all about - art and friends. Enjoy!
