Sarwat Jahan Surovi

Hi :)
I am Sarwat based in Sydney. I have been involved with arts and crafts for over 10 years. Studying Master of Teaching and am excited to be entering into the teaching profession that I am extremely passionate about. I have worked as an art teacher for 4 years in several schools from grade 1 to HSC level in Bangladesh.

I'm passionate about what I do as an artist, and I'm driven to inspire others and provide them with access to this visual language. This is achieved by engaging with my students, tapping into their inner performers, and guiding them to find new artistic pathways. Through my enthusiasm, communication, and facilitation style, I motivate and inspire my students. I am adept at using the following media-

• Oil painting
• Sketching
• Acrylic painting
• Watercolour

Apart from those, I have also worked with oriental art, sculpting, tempera, graffiti, and wood engravings.
Art, I believe, is therapeutic, and it can be anyone's mind and soul-healing hobby because it produces happy and enjoyable worlds. And I'd like to share some of the skills that you can learn to begin your own creative journey!
