  • 5/5 from Jane Robbins, attended Jan 2026: I have wanted to do a Silver Jewellery Making Workshop for a long time and am so glad I finally signed up! Sarah is an excellent teacher, clear, calm and visual instructions meant we and we got straight into making early in the workshop. I am so happy with the ring I made. The instructions that were sent through later via email meant I did not have to take notes during the workshop and could focus on being creative and getting the job done! It also means I can continue to pursue my interest and love of design and working with metal. Thanks so much Sarah!

  • 5/5 from Maria Keyte, attended Jan 2025: My friend Lee and myself had been waiting since September to participate in the Silver jewellery making workshop and the Enamelled Jewellery course. Well what an amazing experience. Our facilitator was so skillful at supporting each individual to work at their own pace with heaps of support and guidance. Sarah Munnings would show the group the details of what she wanted to convey to the participates. Such as using the soldering or metal heating for the enameling then each person was invited to copy her instructions. Each person came away with several jewellery pieces individually make to reflect each person's personality. The Hub venue in Bairnsdale was ideal for this type of workshops We are both looking forward to the next time Sarah is down our way.

Sarah Munnings was working in the corporate world of finance and when she was struck down by a devastating mystery illness. Tests, more tests, and months of trips to doctors led to the diagnoses of Fibromyalgia (a chronic pain condition). This led to Sarah to rediscover her creativity as her own personal form of rehabilitation and become a self-taught jeweller who developed a table top jewellery practice in her kitchen.
She now teaches others the amazing creations that can be made using copper, silver and brass. She uses traditional techniques of forging, soldering and texturing metal, and is passionate about using tools that are easily accessible so that her guests at workshops can continue their journey of discovery at home.
