Tanya has been making closed terrariums since 2017 and open arrangements for over ten years. Tanya has always enjoyed gardening. Having fallen in love with terrariums when she was a young girl when she would regularly see them at her relative's home. Tanya started making terrariums as a mindfulness practice after leaving a very stressful career. Tanya loves all the therapeutic benefits and sharing her knowledge with others. Tanya has moved to Karratha in March 2024 and will do quarterly Terrarium Workshops in Perth.

The friendly and informative class was amazing, the time just flew by. Tanya was so knowledgeable and had a great set up in a relaxing venue. So much variety in the plants and decorations we had on hand. It was the best gift from my son and was able to take my sister for some quality fun time. Came away from the experience so positive and with a beautiful terrarium that I made myself. So looking forward to using my other gift vouchers.

I bought this class for myself to explore a new hobby and I really enjoyed it! I attended alone and this class was suitable to attend alone or with a friend/group.
The venue is a really cool collective with lots of smaller vendors in a warehouse type building. It was quite a hot day but the temperature inside was comfortable.
Tanya was a really knowledgeable teacher and explained everything in a really accessible way. She had a range of lovely materials and explained how/where to buy them if you want to continue to make terrariums at home.
I enjoyed learning about the different elements and having the opportunity to be creative with the materials. Overall this class was excellent and great value for money, I highly recommend Tanya's workshops.

We took Tanya's closed terrerium class as a family activity last year and my husband has been enjoying them so much we thought we'd attend her open terrerium class as well.
We enjoyed both equally. The closed terrerium class was slightly more complex but we can make more use of the open terrerium guidance since we have an abundance of succulents. Would have enjoyed a few more examples of possible scaping layouts, but took a lot of inspiration from the kids that attended and thier beach scapes. I realised they went back to front where they chose the toys they wanted in the terrerium and then created a habitat that matched the toy - in this case turtles.
Great hobby projects. Get a lot of comments on them. My mother and sister call regularly to "check up" on the terreriums <3

This was a birthday present for my mum who has a green thumb but does not have a terrarium of her own.
Tanya was nervous / stressed talking to strangers but was a wealth of useful knowledge and a willingness to help both during and well after the workshop is over.
The venue was very quaint with lots of inspiration and good hand outs and contact info provided for after the workshop was over.
Glad to see a deaf student was accommodated without fuss and included just like everyone else.

Tanya was friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of information and many choices of materials to work with. The venue was spacious but like a shed, it was a little warm. We had a great day and loved the terrarium that we created. Worth the money.

I loved this class. Also dragged my husband and sister along with me this morning <3
Was very pleased to be able to walk away with the instructions, ingredients/product list and an A4 page of techniques, tips and mix ratios.
I saw that people had little miniature dioramas in theirs from the photos and took a bag of discarded pokemon desk toys and stones for us, though was unaware that these were also readily provided and in abundance at the workshop.
Instructions were clear, the set up was very clean. Friendly and collegial attitudes from the participants, gorgeous terrariums to take home.

Loved it. We came among as an activity for our sisters birthday. A great opportunity for sibling bonding after a yummy lunch at Laika. Tanya was the perfect instructor with plenty of handy tips should you wish to make this a hobby to continue with at home. She was helpful and engaged with all the participants. Would definitely recommend this workshop.

Tanya was amazing! Very patient and happy to answer all questions no matter how far out of left field they came. She was great with going around the class and helping each attendee individually. She provided some amazing materials and encouraged us all to take up the hobby as it really does help with being mindful and giving your brain time to calm!

Tanya had good knowledge of making a terrarium and all the equipments were so well organised. We didn't get much dirt on us at all! The skills we learnt that day will definitely help us make more successful terrariums in the future!

A great venue (there’s even ACROD parking) and atmosphere! The class is great for beginners and I’m assured it’s very difficult to accidentally kill the plants. I loved decorating my terrarium with the range of good quality options.

Had the most amazing class with Tanya, didn't know what to expect but it was beyond anything I'd hoped for. A real 7 outa 5. Mine looks so cute. Tanya was brilliant, she was very well organized, used the best of equipment & stock. She also really knows her stuff & made it interesting & heaps of fun. Would highly recommend this class for anyone. It's perfect for just one like me or a couple, a group etc. Would make an awesome idea for a birthday party for any age, hen's activity, x-mas, family activity etc. Can't wait to do more classes.

The teacher was excellent and went over and above to bring so many different materials and ideas to craft our very own Terrerium. The venue was spacious and comfortable and the learning process was honed to perfection. A lot of time and care went into my experience and I am thrilled with the result. I would highly recommend this course and teacher to my family and friends. Very satisfying and enjoyable.

This is a wonderful activity whether you’re with a group, solo, or gifting this workshop to a loved one. Tanya was very friendly and patient - she explained the steps for building our own terrariums, gave us individual attention, and also prepared tip sheets for us to take home. All the materials were provided to us, so all we had to do was show up and have fun - too easy! We enjoyed Tanya’s workshop a lot, and the 2 hours flew by very quickly. Thank you so much, Tanya!

Tanya was such a great teacher and helped to make something that seemed pretty complicated really fun and easy to understand. Tanya is so friendly and knowledgeable which made me feel at ease! There were so many tools and materials to choose from and everyone's terrariums turned out so differently. Tanya taught us so much about how to make them at home too which is really awesome, her passion really shine through. Would definitely recommend! The location was also great, everything you need.

Teacher experienced, well informed and articulated well; all materials provided, encouragement given and a fun and interesting atmosphere created. Poignantly, I still have a thriving terrarium from my workshop - a miracle for me! Parking and accessibility was also good where instructions are clear.

This is my 2nd class doing one of Tanya's terrarium's and it was great. The care and attention to detail shows an obvious love of what she does in her class kits. They are simple, quick and easy to construct and any age group would manage it, not to forget they look amazing upon completion. This kit would make a perfect gift, as a kit or made up. Tanya is has great communication skills, and is quick to get back to you. I highly recommend this class!

Tanya catered to a group of 12 of us for a hen party. It was a really fun activity, and we all enjoyed it. An added bonus was having gorgeous terrariums to take home at the end. It was interesting to see how different everyone’s were, and that they all looked beautiful.
Tanya was so lovely and knowledgeable. All the equipment and materials were of a very high quality.
I would definitely recommend Tanya’s Terrariums!

I've ordered a batch of 9 packages for my team's team building activities. We are in NSW, VIC and QLD. We all received the packages in excellent condition and just in time for the set date. Tanya has been excellent in communication, patient with my questions. We are surprised by how much care she put into the craft box, every single item was packed professionally and labeled carefully. The team loved the activities. Would highly recommend Tanya's terrarium craft box for both individual project and team activities (via zoom or in person).

This kit was fantastic, everything was included with top notch quality & quantity.
The instructions are really excellent, clear & numbered with matching numbered packages which made it such an easy kit, a kit everyone can do.
Loved the cute ladybirds, a nice finishing touch.
I love new, different & interesting kits that are fun, easy, value for money & this kit ticks all the boxes and some.
