  • 5/5 from Kerryn Savage, attended Jul 2025: Absolutely loved doing the slow stitch textile journal! I was a little out of my comfort zone but the Roxy girls were so kind, patient and knowledgeable. I am very grateful for their generosity with the kits provided and the time given to each participant was incredible. Being able to sit in the quirky surrounds of this wonderful space that Rebecca has made, with other like minded women, really filled my heart with joy and has inspired me to get back to and enjoying being creative ️ Rebecca kept us fuelled with yummy vegetarian delights and treats.
  • 5/5 from Jane Chegwidden, attended Jul 2025: Two wonderful creative stitching days in the company of lovely friendly ladies. Rachel and Sarah were the most helpful, generous and delightfully inspirational teachers (along with their talented mum in the background). Rebecca looked after us so well with tea, coffee and delicious food! Thank you all for a very special experience.

The venue was interesting, only comment really is that the seats were a little hard when working so solidly over a couple of days so am a bit achey. Very welcoming!

Roxy Creations is a creative collaboration between Australian sisters Rachel and Sarah, who share a lifelong love of sewing, painting, and all things vintage and beautiful. Though they live on opposite sides of the world – Rachel in Italy and Sarah in Australia – their passion for handmade crafts and storytelling through fabric and paper continues to connect them.

Together, they create richly layered textile pieces, slow-stitched artworks, and enchanting junk journals filled with history and heart. Their mum often joins them when they teach, adding to the warm, family-centred feel of their workshops.
With a loyal global following on YouTube, Instagram, and Etsy, Roxy Creations is beloved for their inspiring tutorials, curated vintage materials, and heartfelt approach to creativity. This is a rare opportunity to learn in person from one of their beautifully considered classes.

Made by Me Workshop is about helping people to connect with their "inner creative" and have some fun while making beautiful things from quality materials in our friendly & vibrant studio space in the heart of the inner west!
Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!
After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.
Rebecca loves that moment of pride that comes over each participant's face when they look at what they have created and say to themselves "Wow - I made this & I love it!"
Made by Me Workshop run a variety of creative workshops, hen’s parties, private parties and corporate events from their warehouse space in St Peters including Resin Art, Resin Jewellery & Mould Making, Soap Making, Terrazzo Homewares, Punch Needle, Macrame and many more.
