Kokedama is a unique form of potting that has existed for centuries. The word "kokedama" is Japanese in origin and literally translates to "moss ball". That is exactly what kokedama are----live plants and soil carefully wrapped in a ball of sphagnum moss and twine.

Come and explore this ancient art with us at Entangled Studio and learn how to create your very own kokedama!

Kokedama can be displayed in a variety of unique ways. They can be strung up inside, outdoors, on stands, as centrepieces----the possibilities are endless! They also make a beautiful and thoughtful gift.

By attending a workshop, you can gain the skills to create one of these marvellous masterpieces for yourself or even for a loved one!

Entangled is a small plant studio in the heart of the inner western suburbs. We specialise in creating kokedama, terrariums and other nature-based crafts for boths adults and children. Entangled also offers indoor plants, pots and plant care products in their humble space.

Entangled was started in 2019 by Jen, who is both a craft enthusiast and crazy plant person! Jen fell in love with the idea of fusing together her passion for plants and crafts after attending a kokedama workshop. Since then, Jen has sold her plant creations at markets across Melbourne and taught both private and public kokedama classes to different businesses and groups.
