Hi, I’m Imogen — the founder of Craft & Soul, a cosy creative studio where people come to slow down, unwind, and explore art in a way that feels completely their own.
My background is actually far from the traditional “art teacher” path — I spent years working with creative technology and running creative events at work. Through all that high-energy, fast-paced work, creativity became my anchor. Making art was where I found calm, presence, and a sense of freedom.
Over time, I realised that not everyone wants formal art classes — many people just want a welcoming space, inspiring materials, and permission to play. That’s exactly what I built Craft & Soul for. Here, you choose your project, set your own pace, and let your creativity unfold naturally. My role is to curate the experience: beautiful materials, cosy ambience, helpful guidance when you need it, and a supportive space where you can just be yourself.
What I love most is watching people surprise themselves — seeing someone who hasn’t touched a paintbrush or clay since school completely light up when they realise how good it feels to make again. You don’t have to be “artistic” to belong here; you just have to be curious.
Craft & Soul is as much about wellbeing as it is about creativity. Whether you’re sculpting, stitching, painting, or simply taking a moment to breathe, my mission is to help you reconnect with that quiet, playful part of yourself that our busy lives often push aside.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the studio and give you the space, tools, and encouragement to create something completely your own.
