A mindful tea ceremony experience

Amongst the hustle and bustle of the city, calm your mind as you step inside a quaint studio in Yeronga. With a background in yoga and meditation, tea lover Geeta Harmon invites you to come and experience the mindful practice of tea, where the tables are set and the teapot is always full.

Geeta will first teach you about the history and principles of the Japanese tradition Chado or the Way of the Tea—how every step in this process is carefully done to have a deeper appreciation of life through the simple act of drinking tea.

Then, you’ll head into the tea room and learn how to prepare ceremonial-grade matcha tea yourself. Through this experience, you’ll have a chance to relax and enter a world away from the city, a serene space to connect with your loved ones or yourself. If you’re a matcha lover and looking for unique things to do in Brisbane, you’re guaranteed to love this tea ceremony experience.

Tried and loved by Deb C… “I ventured out on my own to The Rabbit Studio to join in the tea ceremony and it was so lovely. I felt completely at ease, I met new people and learnt how to make matcha tea. The space was beautiful and Geeta was charming and shared a lot of interesting information.”
