In this class you will learn:
- How to choose the right hook and yarn for Tunisian crochet
- The history of Tunisian crochet
- Basic foundations of crochet, like how to hold a hook and hold your yarn
- How to start and make a foundation chain. Basics of forward and return pass
- Simple, basic techniques and how to use them to make a wide variety of Tunisian crochet stitches
- How to make rows and count them
- How to make neat, straight edges
You will use this knowledge to start a simple project in class that you can finish later, such as a cowl or scarf. All patterns and instructions are provided, and materials are available for purchase.
If you have always wanted to learn something different and innovative, this class is a great choice.
