C Chord
The most popular and easy chord to play on the Ukulele. A one finger placement on the 1st string and the 3rd fret. Learn your first song with the C Chord.
Strumming Patterns
These give us rhythm, and we can use different strumming patterns for different songs, giving them a cool and original sound. The first strumming patterns are strumming on each beat of the song.
F Chord
Another popular chord for kids to learn. This one is a two-finger placement using our first and second fingers.
String Names and Notes
The ukulele has 4 strings and each string has a different name. Each string has it's own note on the music staff.
Chords
These are the notes we will hold down on the Ukulele to give us a particular chord. Once you know these popular chords you can play hundreds of songs.
Note Lengths and Names
An introduction to the length of notes: one beat, two beats, Three beats or four beats.

Comfortable fingers are important and learning to play properly is good for your fingers and helps your hands to stay nice and nimble.
