What you'll do
Have you always wanted to artistically capture your pet but weren’t sure where to start? Artist and teacher Blythe Ashton is here to show you how.
Blythe will not only guide you through the process of painting your pet in watercolours she will also teach you art skills that will help develop your creative eye.
In the first half hour, we will concentrate on drawing your base which will be a guide for your painting. We will then start using the watercolours with step-by-step guidance along the way.
Once we're done you'll have successfully captured your pet and have a new art piece to add to your home!
Note: Although we have advertised the session time to take three and a half hours, your teacher is able to stay with you longer during the sessions if needed.

Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class;

Hi there,
I’m Blythe. I’m an artist and animal lover with three dogs and two cats. I love art and have been drawing and painting since I can remember.
I started painting pet portraits as gifts for my parents and family members, from there my passion started to grow and I began painting pet portraits for friends and coworkers. I realised how much I enjoyed painting and drawing animals for people and decided to pursue it further - now I paint pet portraits full time and teach others my techniques so they're able to paint their own pet.
