Recent reviews of Watercolour Painting Class: Floral Motifs
1/5 from Lee Lok Kan, attended Aug 2025: The workshop only provided me with the materials. No instruction. I’d rather draw at home …… disappointing
5/5 from Emma Blackwell, attended Mar 2025: Very relaxing!
5/5 from Elina Shaiukova, attended Feb 2025: The studio is so beautiful and perfect to relax and get creative. I loved variety of templates to choose from and beautiful metallic watercolour paints
5/5 from Ekanayake Mudiyanselage Srimathie D Ekanayake, attended Jan 2025: A great class, time goes so fast. Great teacher and you meet nice ppl in this class.
5/5 from Iris Pu, attended Dec 2024: fantastic experience
4/5 from Sarah Cordell, attended Oct 2024: I went with a friend to this class. The instructor was friendly and enthusiastic, the motifs available we're really nice. The class was listed as completing the cultural experience with Turkish afternoon tea, this was some Lipton/Twinings tea bags, paper cups, and urn and a tin of Turkish delights (I also had to ask about this rather than be offered). This was disappointing. Overall my friend and I had a good time, but wouldn't say this was value for money given we were largely left to our own devices.
5/5 from Li Zhu, attended May 2024: I like the painting class a lot, the teacher was so friendly and I enjoyed the experience of this class. I also met a new friend during the class, which is so nice. Thank you for the Benton art class.
4/5 from Rezwana Bashir, attended May 2024: The class was good! I liked the final piece! We also got ea and Turkish delights
5/5 from Michelle Parlan, attended Mar 2024: Watercolour has always been something I wanted to try and the Turkish Floral Motif caught my attention. The teacher was very encouraging and explained the different levels of difficulty depending on the design we were interested in and provided samples for inspiration. The venue was really clean and pretty with the turkish lamps displayed. Materials also seemed to be of good quality, the teacher mentioned that the pigments, paper and materials are all Japanese made.
5/5 from Theresa Nicole Panosa, attended Mar 2024: Relaxing class! Great balance between giving guidance and letting us get into the zone. Tea and snacks were great too
5/5 from Anna Lam, attended Jan 2024: I really enjoyed the small class size and how well the team from Atolya explained things.
5/5 from Morgan Lincoln, attended Dec 2023: Attending Atolya's floral watercolor class was a delightful experience—one of the best I've had. The expert guidance allowed me to effortlessly complete a complex drawing within the class time, and the welcoming atmosphere, coupled with pre-drawn designs on watercolour papers, made it accessible for all skill levels. The added bonus of Turkish tea and cookies added a charming touch to this creatively fulfilling and inclusive class.
5/5 from Ceren Aldemir, attended Dec 2023: I recently attended the watercolour painting class by Atolya in Darlinghurst. The floral patterns were authentic drawings from the Mughal period. You can also choose other templates in this class. Relaxing and warm environment. The studio is very beautiful and the instructors were lovely. I recommend this experience for anyone looking for an easy and relaxing but unique paint & sip experience.
5/5 from Elaine Osgborn, attended Dec 2023: This class was very relaxing and therapeutic. The use of traditional watercolor pigments added an authentic and timeless charm to the experience. It was good that the patterns were provided, each skill-fully drawn by an artist and unique in their own way. Turkish tea and sweets was a lovely touch. It was great value for the price of the class.
5/5 from Tammy Hong, attended Dec 2023: This is a very relaxing paint & sip class, as Turkish tea and sweets are offered throughout the class. The watercolour papers have the designs pre-drawn on them very lightly so it was very easy. Basic watercolour techniques are taught but it is mainly a relaxing session with music. You can also purchase more prints to watercolour.
