What you'll do
Learn to draw and paint flowers, succulents, pot plants, leaves and more in the live online class perfect for nature lover kids and teens!
In this beginner's class, kids will be guided through the process of creating a series of botanical illustrations using pencil and watercolour paints.
This online workshop is taught via Zoom and is designed to be both interactive and engaging. The teachers interact with each child individually and offer tailored assistance to each student. These sessions are upbeat, educational and most importantly fun!
This workshop is taught by practising artists with a warm and nurturing approach. At Gloworm Studios we treat each student as the young artist that they are and respect each child's unique creative expression. We value the enjoyment of the creative process above all else.
You will receive the Zoom login details for this class once your booking is confirmed.
Please note: This class requires watercolour paints. Watercolour paints work best on watercolour paper. Affordable and accessible watercolour paints and papers are available from Officeworks, Coles and Kmart.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly.
What to bring
- A set of watercolour paints
- Watercolour paper (preferred) or thick cartridge paper
- Grey lead pencil
- An eraser
- 3-4 sheets of paper for initial sketches (any type of paper is fine!)
