What you'll do
This weekend workshop will provide a fantastic introduction into the world of Bronze Sculpture, where you will create a small sculpture in casting wax that can ultimately be cast in Bronze -at an additional cost.
Learn from an experienced Sculptor how to create a 3d artwork, techniques and finishes that can be applied to your sculpture and the processes from start to finish to help you gain knowledge about this amazing medium.
At the commencement of this wonderful experience you will have the rare opportunity to tour a Bronzing Foundry and see first hand the processes involved to create a Bronze Sculpture - approx 45 minutes.
Following this fabulous tour we reconvene at 1pm at my workshop space, to begin creating your own wax model - this session finishes at 5pm.
The following day we reconvene at 1pm to finish your wax model - finishing at 4.30pm.
Join us in this transformative sculpture workshop and unlock your artistic potential. You're in for an enjoyable, creative and rewarding activity that will leave you with a stunning piece of art to cherish forever, and a memorable experience.
Nb.There is absolutely no obligation for participants to have a Bronze completed; the wax model can be kept if not bronzed.

I am Jenny a self taught Stone Sculptor/Artist and workshop facilitator of more that 25 years, located in Melbourne.
What started off as a hobby and passion soon became my profession. I have always adored sculpture and a 3 day workshop in stone sculpture kicked off my obsession.I work directly with the stone, uncovering form and shape hidden within.. that's the fun part. My work is predominantly figurative however recently I have begun to play with abstraction of form. Many of my artworks have been sold though galleries and various art exhibitions winning prizes for my sculpture along the way.... my art enriches not only my life as a creative but also those who have bought them.
I have been conducting workshops for over 15 years and enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge with you during my workshops. I find it so inspiring to see what is created by you in just 1 day. Come along for a fun, creative day, take home a sculpture.
