Hi, I’m Jessie — and tea is an important part of the Five-Senses Holistic Healing experiences I have created at Yuan Sense Studio.
I believe tea can be naturally incorporated into everyday life: as a healthy habit that helps us feel refreshed and rebalanced, as a personal daily ritual, or even as a form of meditation that allows the mind to slow down and become quiet.
My professional background brings together wellbeing, education and sensory experience. I am an Australian-registered nutritionist, an ICF-certified life coach and a qualified meditation teacher. For nearly 15 years, I have worked with private clients, groups and corporate teams, exploring practical ways to support the body, calm the mind and help people reconnect with themselves.
My relationship with tea goes far beyond a personal passion. I have been fortunate to learn directly from highly skilled artisan tea makers across China, including respected masters dedicated to preserving China’s intangible cultural heritage. They taught me not only how to brew and appreciate tea, but also how to understand the craftsmanship, philosophy and cultural knowledge held within every leaf.
As someone who is genuinely bilingual in English and Chinese, I am able to bring this deeper knowledge to an Australian audience in a way that is clear, authentic and relevant to modern life.
In my tea experiences, you’ll have the opportunity to:
* Discover the history, craftsmanship and character behind different Chinese teas
* Learn how to appreciate aroma, texture, flavour and finish
* Notice how the same tea evolves through multiple infusions
* Experience tea as both a sensory journey and a form of quiet meditation
* Slow down, reconnect with your senses and share meaningful moments with others
Whether you are already passionate about tea or tasting traditional Chinese tea for the first time, I would love to welcome you into an experience that is cultural, sensory and deeply personal.
