What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do at home? Learn how to paint an abstract floral art on canvas!
Your teacher, Anna Pontikis will show you her fun and unique way to create abstract florals using bright colours and paint markers.
In this class you will be guided the step-by-step process of painting abstract art, including her top tips and tricks.
She will also teach you how to intuitively follow your own inner guidance when painting, and allowing your Inner child to explore and paint with fun and spontaneity. You will finish this class with a beautiful piece of art you can be proud of.
Knowledge required
No previous painting skills required, just a desire to learn.
What you'll get in your craft kit
- 10 x 10 inch canvas
- 12 pack of acrylic paints (12ml) tubes
- 6 Assorted Brushes
- 5 acrylic paint markers
- Tube of fluro pink paint 60ml
What you'll need
If you do not purchase the box you will need: - A 10 x 10 inch canvas
- Assorted acrylic paint colours (pinks, greens, orange, yellow, blue, turquoise, neon pink and darker colours like paynes grey or black and of course a white acrylic).
- Assorted bright acrylic paint markers and fine white acrylic paint marker
- Brushes - a wide brush as well as a smaller 1cm width approx flat or round brush and a fine brush for some detail.
- You will also need a paint palette to put paint onto, or paper plate or anything you have handy.
- Jar of water and some paper towel.
- Hairdryer or Heat Gun to dry the paint in between layers

Hi my name is Anna!
I am an artist and energy healing practitioner.
I have been painting for several years and am self taught with the help of many online and in person classes. I love colour and texture and bright expressive paintings. I have a passion for painting flowers and abstracts. I also don't like rules when it comes to art I think we have enough rules already and creativity is where the Inner Child gets to go on a journey of fun and exploration.
I am also an energy healing practitioner working with clients one on one to clear resistance to change and healing using several energy healing modalities that I have studied over the years similar to kinesiology.
Creativity is a catalyst to healing and opens the energy body up to having more vitality and be more free flowing which then leads to change in all other areas. It is also the way to harness your intuition more as when you are engaged in a creative practice the ego (overthinker) gets bored and tunes out and intuition can flow.
I love to bring my two loves together, creativity and healing and will do that in each workshop whilst making the workshops fun and spontaneous.
I would love you to come join me as I take a leap of faith to share and teach art my way.
