Hey everyone I have poured my heart and soul + many months of organising and working to design this beginners embroidery kit so that you can learn embroidery and get started with your stitching practice. This kit is a collection of my lifetime of stitching which is an accumulation of generations knowledge passed down through the ages. It honours bloom blessings and a significant part of my art journey (mandalas). With each segment of the mandala I teach a foundation stitch which you will repeatedly learn through creating the design.
After a lifetime of stitching I have felt the desire to share this beautiful craft with the world and to help people develop their own embroidery practice.
Stitching has been a part of the human experience for thousands of years. It's been a way to record stories and history, for women to speak, to embellish clothing, lighten dark spaces, symbolise life, ward off evil spirits, protest, to express our souls and preserve moments in cloth. Embroidery is an art form that is passed down through human connection. My nana first taught me when I was a little girl and then I taught myself how to turn my pencil drawings into embroidery. Many cultures use different stitches and in this kit I am teaching you foundation stitches that I like to use in my embroidery. You don't need to know a lot of stitches to create beautiful embroidery In fact you can do a lot with just a split stitch.
I have created a Bloom Mandala Pattern which teaches you 11 foundation stitches in each segment of the mandala.
Creating mandalas and stitching is a very mindful practice which helps you to relax your mind. Creating mandalas has been a big part of my life and art journey so I wanted to create my first embroidery kit honouring them and honouring bloom magic!
This pattern lights up any space and is a great artwork to hang on your wall that you will create!!

My name is Danielle and I have been creating all my life by exploring many different mediums. Flowers and textiles have always been my happy place where I feel entirely connected to my self-expression and to nature.
I became a qualified florist in 2020 which was a dream come true combining my two passions of nature and art. After working in the industry for some time I realised how big of an impact flowers have on people's moods and energy.
Even more so the therapeutic practice of actually creating with them. So I felt the push to start my own business (Bloom Blessings) hosting flower workshops for the community to bring their blessings into more spaces and have their medicine accessible to more people in a creative space.
Embroidery is that practice in my life that allows me to tell stories and mark moments in time through thread and fabric. It is a very meditative practice for me and a way to make my mark and express myself. I love that with embroidery I can paint with thread and embellish my clothes and express myself. Embroidery has been around for centuries as a way to beautify garments, tell stories, hidden languages and ward off evil spirits. It's a beautiful craft that has been handed down through generations and I feel that it is my mission to share this craft with more people to not only keep the skill alive but to give people a craft that allows them to relax their minds and express themselves through textiles.
Through many years of experience in floristry and embroidery, I have mastered the skills and created a range of workshops to teach you these crafts at a beginner-friendly level.
