Learn how to Bellydance for beginners in this fun live streaming class with Angela Ambrosia!

In this fun class, you will discover fun tips and tricks to play with Bellydance moves as you listen to music. Angela will help you unlock what makes the more advanced moves of Bellydance actually a lot of fun and easier. You will also discover the healing parts of Bellydance that open up your energy, your joy and your heart.

For this class, you can learn one-on-one or in a group class, which is great for virtual birthday parties, where we learn a dance of the veils or a beginners choreography. The class can be women only or can be mixed for men and women. Men can have a lot of fun in a group party environment!

The class can also be tailored for young girls 12 to 15 years, who wish to open to the classical tradition of this feminine dance art form. They will learn posture, body confidence and how to manage and own their feminine grace and power.

Your teacher Angela has worked in Orlando Florida with A Magi Dance Entertainment at Universal Studios as a Bellydance performer, where she learnt the tricks of how to keep people entertained and draw them into the feeling of the dance.

Knowledge required

No dance experience required. A sense of humour very welcome!

What to bring

Wear comfortable gym clothes, and wear some socks or dance barefoot.
If you have a scarf or hip belt you can use one, but it is not required.

Suitable for

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 15 years old). Adult accompaniment is not required.

I teach belly dance for beginners, body confidence and awareness through movement and meditation and healing with the energy body.

Angela gave a good introduction for starting out with belly dancing. It is a complex exercise that certainly challenges the coordination and she was able to take into consideration my heel injury. I would prefer a face to face class to the zoom though.
