Recent reviews of Stand-Up Comedy Course: 2-Night Course
- 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Jan 2025: A fun time learning about comedy, how it’s written and presented. A good balance of theory and practical. Good to be pushed and supported with getting words together
- 5/5 from Kasia C, attended Nov 2024: I loved the workshop. People there who were naturally funny seemed to be loving the workshop, and I, a serious introver who is not naturally funny -- also loved it. I did not think I would be good at stand up, and was very nervous going in, but the teacher made it such a pleasant and confidence-building space. He broke down joke structure and explained how to create a set, with examples. It was very clear and I felt capable. He got us all talking the first class and I left feeling confident that I could pull together a very short set; he had already gotten us to start making jokes and practicing them. (The second night is about crafting not just one joke but a small series and performing, if you want to, a small set.)
