A gentle pause to create and appreciate with the timeless art of kintsugi

2 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests

$80 - $85 ($85 per guest when you book for 1+ guests, $80/guest for 6+ guests) (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Slow down, create and reconnect with yourself in this calming Kintsugi-inspired workshop.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pieces with gold—celebrating imperfections rather than hiding them. In this session, you’ll not only create your own beautiful repaired piece but also take part in a gentle gratitude reflection.
Before we begin, you’ll be guided through a short, mindful writing exercise to reflect on gratitude and the beauty in life’s “imperfect” moments. This intention will flow into your creative process, making your artwork even more meaningful.
What you’ll experience:
  • Introduction to the art of Kintsugi
  • Hands-on creation of your own Kintsugi piece
  • A guided gratitude writing exercise
  • A calm, supportive and creative environment
What you'll get
  • Enjoy a $10 café voucher included with your ticket—perfect for a warm drink or treat while you create.
  • Your finished Kintsugi artwork.
  • A deeper appreciation for imperfections.
  • A simple gratitude practice you can continue.

Hi, I’m Tejal! I used to work in IT as an Engineer and a Scrum Master, but I followed my passion for creativity and helping people express themselves through art. I am also a certified interior decorator, which inspires the way I blend aesthetics and mindfulness in my workshops. I now run sessions where participants create vision boards, hand-painted tote bags, resin art, clay art, and more, blending mindfulness, fun, and self-expression.
I’m also a certified Art Therapy Practitioner and worked with an NDIS provider, which inspires me to make experiences inclusive, empowering, and healing.
I love teaching because those little “aha” moments — when someone expresses themselves freely or leaves with something they’re proud of — are magical. My workshops are soulful, intimate, and thoughtful, with materials and prompts to make every experience special.
Creating a space where people feel seen, inspired, and empowered is what drives me every day.
